How it plays
A blower pushes air upward and a light ball hovers in it. Players pump their launchers and fire soft foam balls at the floating target. A hit knocks it out of the stream, which gives an instant, satisfying result. Then the ball goes back on and the next round starts.
The pumping adds rhythm and suspense. Do you take a quick shot or wait for the perfect angle? Rounds usually last under a minute, so the line keeps moving.
Contest formats
We set the shooting line by player, not age. A confident ten-year-old may be fine further back, while a first-time adult starts closer and steps back after a hit.
- Fastest knock-off: time each player from the start whistle
- Head to head: two players fire at once, first to knock it off wins
- Three lives: miss three shots and you are out, last one standing wins
- Team relay: pass the launcher down the line until someone scores
Events it suits
It is a great match for teens and adults who find toss games too easy. Office parties and college events love it because it turns into a quick-reaction contest that is fun to watch. Younger kids can play too with a closer line. It also gives guests who do not want to ride anything a skill contest and a shot at a prize.
What your rental includes
We deliver the blower, target ball, launchers and foam balls, set it up against a wall or with a backstop so balls do not scatter into the crowd, and keep it away from drinks and food. Our attendant runs the game and gathers balls during busy spells. Takedown is included.
Safety and booking
Players follow our attendant's rules, which include aiming only at the target and wearing eye protection where we supply it. For a static target, see the Western shootout. For a full row of targets, look at the Bullseye shooting gallery. The full range is on our add-ons page. Ready to add it? Get a quote.
Questions people ask
Are the foam balls safe?
They are soft, but players still aim only at the target. Our attendant sets the rules and hands out eye protection where we supply it.
How long does a round take?
Usually under a minute, which keeps the line moving.
Can it run outdoors?
Wind pushes the floating ball around, so we look for a sheltered spot. Tell us about your venue when you book.
